About Us

Govt. Industrial Training Institute Baijnath, District Kangra was established in the year 2012 initially with two trades viz. Electrician and Mech. Motor Vehicle with two units of each vide Govt. of Himachal Pradesh notification no. EDN(TE)A(1)-14/2006 dated 01June/2012 .
Two more trades i.e. Fitter and Welder of two unit of each wee also included in year 2014 vide Govt. of Himachal Pradesh  notification no.EDN/(TE)A 14/2006 dated 04/03/2014  .  Cosmetology (old name hair and skin care) trade of one unit with intake of 48 has been started in year 2017 .Two additional units are  started of Electrician and MMV in 2019 and affiliated with NCVT, thus making total strength of this ITI is 260.
